MRCARTOOL V308 Fuel Injector Cleaning is a professional 4 cylinders auto fuel injector testing cleaning machine. It cleans and tests injectors for gasoline cars and motorcycles, supporting more models. For diesel cars, it can only clean diesel fuel injectors, not test them.

📝Warm Tips
  1. Regarding the injector test fluid you can choose medical alcohol and paraffin for testing, please do not use any corrosive cleaning fluid for testing. If it is not used for a long time, it is recommended to recycle the test fluid after the test is completed.
  2. Regarding the injector cleaning fluid, you can purchase a cleaning fluid specifically for carbon cleaning, and I’ve attached a link below to the one we often recommend to our customers to purchase. You can click on the link to purchase it directly.
  3. The cleanser added into the ultrasonic cleaner just soaked the injectors’ needle is suitable.
  4. Do not activate the ultrasonic cleaner before adding the ultrasonic cleanser, as this may result in damage.
  5. Strictly prohibit to put the pulse signal cable or its connecter into the cleanser, otherwise damage will be incurred.
  6. The continue work time of the ultrasonic cleaner don’t be more than 30min, otherwise it will shorten the life.
  7. Not in using, please put out the power plug.

How To Use The MRCARTOOL V308 Fuel Injector Cleaning?

Operating Procedure
  • Step1: Clean the injector’s exterior before using the machine. Place injectors in the ultrasonic bathtub when dirt-free, and keep the cleaning fluid below the pulse line connection port.
  • Step2: Activate the ultrasonic system to dislodge particle buildup in the injectors. You can recycle the remaining cleaning fluid after use.
  • Step3: Fix the injectors on the main machine to test for resistance, shorts, and current draw. Fill the glass tube halfway with test liquid.
  • Step4: Conduct the leak test, spray pattern, and flow rate testing on the flow bench. Return the injectors to the flow bench for retesting of all functions.

This fuel injector cleaner/tester works well right out of the box. What's really nice is the number of fittings supplied with this set. In this case, the fittings for reverse flush were a different than size than for testing. One thing to note is never use anything corrosive as a test fluid as it will destroy the pump and seals very quickly. The manufacturer recommended the alcohol which worked well for me especially since test fluid is difficult to actually procure. If you can find it, it tends to be very expensive. If using on injectors for every day drivers, alcohol as a test fluid is fine.

I did a full inspection of it. We pulled two fuel rails from the yard for our stocker. V309 cleaned and tested each one. The volumetric cylinders are clear and well lit. Fittings are tight and there are no leaks. Definitely worth the money.

Works fine, but won't drive all 4 low impedance injectors at a time.

The unit arrived in excellent condition, is well made, and easy to use. However, for my purposes I'm going to have to design and implement an external driver circuit for my 4 Porsche 944S injectors; they are 8 ohm Bosch units and trying to run the cleaning cycle on all 4 causes a reset of the pulsing circuit/program. The Q&A page on this website (item 7) does mention this, but it would have been nice if the current drive capability was included in the specifications.
