I have several vehicles and a boat and it’s always a good idea to know the condition of the batteries in them especially the boat it’s one thing to be stranded on the side of the road but out in the middle of some lake is a lot more scary. this tool is a great value and very useful.

This tester has a bit more features than a very basic battery tester, however after using it for a little while, comparing it to other similarly featured battery testers, this B200 tester at its current price, there are some other battery testers out there that offer a bit more for nearly the same price. Still, its an OK tester.

The packaging is simple, the box has all sorts of information on it, and within that box is just the Tester and an instruction manual. The instruction manual explains all of the features, its specs, etc.

This tester has 4 basic tests, Battery, Charging, Cranking, Load. Battery will give you some basic information about the state of the battery as-is, whereas the other tests will give you more information about cranking time, how the charging system is operating, etc.

If you run the other tests, this tester will also give you some information on how the charging system is behaving. Each test doesnt take very long, and they do require starting the vehicle. For quickly checking the state of a battery, the, Battery test is enough.
